Safe Return Plan
August 2023 Dear Parents, In accordance with State and Federal mandates, Section 2001 (i)(1) and (2), of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act, each school district must develop, and make public, a plan for safe return to in-person instruction and continuity of services for all schools (Safe Return Plan). It is also required that we seek public comment on the Safe Return Plan and take those comments into account to finalize the Plan. The Safe Return Plan, at this stage of the process, is a working document and can be revised every six months through September 30, 2023. In an effort to fulfill these requirements, I am linking a draft copy of our Safe Return Plan for your review and comments. If you have any questions or concerns, please send me an email at poteathe@winslow-schools.com, or you can wait until our next School Board Meeting and ask your questions during Public Comment. As changes are made to the plan, they will be noted in red. Please keep in mind that our Safe Return Plan is a working document and I look forward to your input and participation in the process.
