General School Information
Welcome to the Winslow Township School District Website resources page for parents. This page is intended to support parents in our district and provide connections to what is happening within our schools and our community. Enrolling in School Children must be four years old on or before October 1st to enroll in the preschool program, and five years old on or before October 1 to enroll in kindergarten. All new students are required to provide a birth certificate or other accepted proof of birth date, as well as immunization records for registration. Additional information regarding registration can be found here. School Attendance Excused Absences: If your child is absent, call the school office before 9:00 a.m. to let them know the reason and when your child will be returning to school. Students are asked to bring a written note signed by parent/legal guardian upon their return. Unexcused Absences: If you do not communicate with the school about your child’s absence, their record will show an “unexcused absence” for that day. Unexcused absences may affect the child’s grade. Regular attendance is extremely important to your child’s learning. Certain non-medical absences may be recorded as “unexcused” even with a note from home. Tardiness: Please make sure that your child arrives at school on time every day. Students who are late to school must be signed in by, or have a note from, a parent/legal guardian in order to be admitted to class. The District offers before and after-school childcare at each of our elementary schools. For more information click the header above or contact the Winslow Township BASP at 856-767-2850 x7531.
