The Winslow Township Board of Education is comprised of nine community members, each elected to a three-year term. Qualifications to become a school board member include:
What are the main responsibilities of board members? The Board of Education adopts policies under which the school district operates; oversees the budget; approves the curriculum; hires and evaluates the superintendent; represents the public during contract negotiations; and serves as a communications link between the community and the school system. We encourage the public to attend and participate in the public session meetings of the Winslow Township Board of Education. Regular meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m. in the Winslow Township Middle School Cafeteria on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
