Introduction Letter from Mr. Mark Pease, Interim Superintendent

Friday, September 12, 2025

Dear Staff, Parents, and Students of Winslow Township School District,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. It is with immense excitement and a deep sense of honor that I have this opportunity to lead this great school district as the Interim Superintendent.

I am eager to collaborate with each member of this esteemed community, building on the strong foundation that has been established. Together, I am confident that we will continue to provide the highest quality education and support for our students, ensuring their growth and success.

In the coming weeks, I look forward to engaging with all stakeholders, listening to your insights, and working collectively to shape the future of the Winslow Township School District. Your input is invaluable, and together, we will work to provide meaningful experiences and opportunities for all students.

I may not live in Winslow Township myself, but my connection runs deep. My son, brother, and their families proudly call Winslow home. I’m here often, and I look forward to continuing to build positive and lasting relationships across the community.

Throughout my 32 years as an educator, I have served in various roles, including teacher, athletic coach, Athletic Director, Vice Principal, Principal, and Superintendent. I began my career in 1993 as a high school Special Education teacher in the Camden City Public School District. After a decade of teaching and coaching, I transitioned into administration as the Athletic Director at Camden High School. After years of success in Camden, I joined the Palmyra School District, where I served as Vice Principal and later as Principal of both Palmyra High School and Charles Street Elementary School.

My desire to continue to lead and make an impact in education led me to an opportunity to serve as the Superintendent of Somerdale School District in New Jersey. After 5 years in Somerdale, I retired and immediately was presented with the opportunity to lead the Palmyra School District as the Interim Superintendent. As I continue my journey in education, I remain steadfast in my belief that our children are our number one priority and that they are the most valuable resource for our community, state, and nation.

Please know that my door is always open, and I welcome any thoughts, ideas, or concerns you may wish to share. Together, we will navigate this exciting journey, overcome challenges, and continue to elevate the success of all students. I am truly honored to serve as the Interim Superintendent of the Winslow Township School District.

Be Great, Be Kind, and Go Eagles!

Sincerely,

Mark Pease, Interim Superintendent
