Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Early Childhood Education Center at the Shirley B. Foster School

The Winslow Township School District and the Chesilhurst School District held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 for the new Early Childhood Education Center at the Shirley B. Foster Elementary School in Chesilhurst, NJ. Joining us for this ribbon cutting ceremony were school board members from Winslow Township and Chesilhurst, Mayor Jamila Odom (Chesilhurst), Mayor Marie Lawrence (Winslow), as well as numerous elected officials. The ceremony was also well attended by parents and students from both communities.

In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the new program, the ceremony included a rededication to Mrs. Shirley B. Foster and her family to ensure that her legacy lives on in the Chesilhurst community.

This collaboration between the two school districts has enabled us to provide an educational opportunity for 105 three-year-old students.
