WTHS Students Wins National Award
Congratulations to Daniel Aasa, 10th grader at WTHS, for his winning submission in the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) FentAlert Challenge.
Daniel Aasa, at 10th
grader at Winslow Township High School, won a federal government challenge from
the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) under
the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, for his animated video about
the dangers of fentanyl.
His winning
submission, out of two hundred teenagers nationwide, was one of the six winning
entries. Daniel was awarded $5,000 for his animated video.
Winslow Township
School District would like to congratulate Daniel on this tremendous accomplishment
