WTHS Football Team - NJSIAA Group IV Sectional Champions
Congratulations to Coach Belton and the entire Winslow Township High School Football Team on winning their third straight South Jersey Group IV Sectional Title! We are Winslow Proud of you! Winslow will host Brick Memorial High School on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the state semifinal. |
Congratulations to the WTHS Band!!
The Winslow Township Marching Band is having another successful season, most recently placing 2nd at the South Jersey Region Championships at Eastern Regional High School. They also won special awards for Best Visuals, Best Color Guard, and Best Percussion. Also at Region Championships, senior member Samara Thomas was awarded the Mike Heaton Memorial Scholarship. |
NJEA Leadership Team Visits School No. 3
October 28, 2025 – The New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) leadership team visited School No. 3 on Tuesday, October 27, 2025 for a “Getting to Know Your NJEA Officers” luncheon. Teachers and staff had the opportunity to meet and speak with members of the NJEA leadership team, who encouraged active participation in union activities and shared insights about the organization’s ongoing initiatives. Interim Superintendent Mr. Mark Pease and WTEA President, Mr. Robert Nevitt, also joined the staff at School No. 3 for this event to show their support. |

WTHS Coach Curtis Custis Recognized at Board of Education Meeting
October 22, 2025 – Coach Curtis Custis, Winslow Township High School Boys Track Coach, was formally recognized by the Winslow Township Board of Education for achievements during the 2024-2025 school year. Coach Custis was named the NJSIAA South Jersey Boys Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year and the National Federation of High School Coaches Association Coach of the Year for Winter Track. These awards highlight Coach Custis’ leadership and commitment to excellence. |
School 5 Student Presentation at Board of Education Meeting on 10/22/2025
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, School 5 students attended the Board of Education Meeting and delivered an inspiring presentation on Social Emotion Learning (SEL) and Anti-Bullying. The program, entitled #Upstander, highlights the importance of kindness, empathy, and standing up for others. The students did an excellent job! Interim Superintendent Pease Attends Camden Corporate Watch Meeting on Safety & Security
Winslow Township School District was at the table for the Camden Corporate Watch monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. The Camden Corporate Watch is an organization created to share best practices and professional development in the areas of security and safety. Mr. Pease attended the meeting at L3 Harris, a member of the Camden Corporate Watch, to participate in a conversation circled around “Securing the Places We Work and the Technology and Equipment Used to Keep Us Safe.” L3 Harris, along with other members of the Camden Corporate Watch, are leaders in the world of technology, security, and safety. |

Virtua Health Therapy Dogs Bring Joy to School No. 1
On October 3rd, School No. 1 welcomed therapy dogs for a special visit that brought smiles, comfort, and plenty of wagging tails! Students and staff enjoyed the pawsitive energy and stress relief these furry friends provided. A heartfelt thank you to Virtua Health’s Pet Therapy Program for sharing their wonderful dogs and spreading so much happiness throughout the school. |
