Emergency Closing - Make Up Days
March 12, 2026 Dear Parent/Guardian: In accordance with NJ State Law, our school district calendar must have a minimum of one-hundred eighty (180) student days. This year it has been necessary to close all schools for five days (January 26, January 27, January 28, February 23, and February 24) due to inclement weather. We already adjusted the calendar to make up two of the five days, and the Winslow Township Board of Education has approved the additional make up days as follows: • Wednesday, April 8, 2026 Full Day for Students and Staff • Thursday, April 9, 2026 Full Day for Students and Staff • Friday, April 10, 2026 Full Day for Students and Staff Thank you for your continued support. WTMS Student Spotlight!
We would like to celebrate Winslow Township Middle School student Malia Hayward for proudly representing our school at the 8th Grade Dialogue on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, presented by the New Jersey School Boards Association for Camden County. This event gives 8th grade students the opportunity to share their views, insights, and opinions on important school issues. Malia hopes to pursue a career in interior design and plans to attend a college that specializes in architecture, art, and design. The Winslow Township School District community looks forward to hearing about all the great things you will accomplish. We are proud of you!! |

Early Childhood Center "Make & Take" Night
ECEC – Make & Take Night January 7, 2026 – The Community Parent Involvement Specialists hosted a Make and Take Night for preschool families at the Early Childhood Education Center. Parents and students participated in a variety of winter-themed activities designed to support learning and engagement at home. Each family left with a sensory box filled with creative materials and plenty of fun ideas to continue learning together. It was a wonderful evening of learning and fun. |

Happy Holidays and WTMS Update
Dear Parents, Students, and Staff of Winslow Township School District, Middle School parents thank you for your patience and cooperation throughout this first marking period. I know it has been a difficult time, but you have shown the resiliency and toughness necessary to overcome difficult situations. 90% of the repairs in the Middle School have been completed. The pipe was fixed; however, in an abundance of caution it was recommended by our engineer to replace the full length of the pipe, which increased our timeline. This work has started and when it is complete, I will be communicating with you regarding our return date. I am hopeful that at some point during the Winter break I can send communication to every one of our exact return date. We are really close, so please hang in there. Again, thank you for your continued support and understanding of this situation. |
WTMS Journalism Students Interview Interim Superintendent Mr. Mark Pease
On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, our WTMS Journalism students had the opportunity to interview Mr. Mark Pease, Interim Superintendent. Miss Ayana Bland came fully prepared with thoughtful questions, demonstrating professionalism, confidence, and curiosity throughout the conversation. Mr. Pease was impressed by their preparation and poise, sharing that he can easily see them as future successful journalists. |
Interim Superintendent Mr. Pease Meets with 7th Grade Journalism Students
Mr. Pease, Interim Superintendent, sat down with our 7th Grade Journalism students on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 for an interview. The students prepared and asked thoughtful, engaging questions that showcased their communication skills throughout the entire conversation. It’s inspiring to see our students’ curiosity and confidence shine as they learn the art of storytelling and journalism. Great job to Winslow’s future media stars! |
WTHS Football Team - NJSIAA Group IV Sectional Champions
Congratulations to Coach Belton and the entire Winslow Township High School Football Team on winning their third straight South Jersey Group IV Sectional Title! We are Winslow Proud of you! Winslow will host Brick Memorial High School on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the state semifinal. |
Congratulations to the WTHS Band!!
The Winslow Township Marching Band is having another successful season, most recently placing 2nd at the South Jersey Region Championships at Eastern Regional High School. They also won special awards for Best Visuals, Best Color Guard, and Best Percussion. Also at Region Championships, senior member Samara Thomas was awarded the Mike Heaton Memorial Scholarship. |
NJEA Leadership Team Visits School No. 3
October 28, 2025 – The New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) leadership team visited School No. 3 on Tuesday, October 27, 2025 for a “Getting to Know Your NJEA Officers” luncheon. Teachers and staff had the opportunity to meet and speak with members of the NJEA leadership team, who encouraged active participation in union activities and shared insights about the organization’s ongoing initiatives. Interim Superintendent Mr. Mark Pease and WTEA President, Mr. Robert Nevitt, also joined the staff at School No. 3 for this event to show their support. |
