Winslow Township School Board Honors WTHS Teacher, Mr. Pino, and WTMS Student, Marchella Mazzoni

On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, the Winslow Township School Board recognized Mr. Pino, English Teacher, and WTMS Student, Marchella Mazzoni.

On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, the Winslow Township School Board recognized Mr. John Pino, English Teacher and Track Coach at Winslow Township High School, for his dedication to our students, and his caring and compassion for their well-being. Mr. Pino, without hesitation, remained with a student who experienced a medical emergency during a class trip out of state, never leaving the student until the immediate family arrived.  Mr. Pino’s loyalty and compassion for our students is greatly appreciated.

The Board also recognized Marchella Mazzoni, an eighth grade honor student at Winslow Township Middle School, who was the runner-up in the National Aspiring Young Journalist Scholarship Competition.  She was named 2nd best in the Nation for Middle School students and received this honor at the Young Journalist Convention in Anaheim, California.

The Winslow Township School Board would like to thank Mr. Pino and congratulate Miss Marchella for representing the Winslow Township School District in the best possible way.

We are Winslow Proud of you!!
